Chairman of the Board

Bill was born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula: a Yooper. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University and a Doctorate in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. Bill practiced as a psychologist for over fifteen years.  He treated patients, developed clinical programs, led clinical teams, and managed clinics and a psychiatric hospital.  He provided organizational consulting services to local businesses for several years, then he made the leap to corporate Human Resources. Bill became the Chief Human Resources Officer for Integrys/Wisconsin Public Service and Wipfli. He led transformation efforts that resulted in Human Resources being valued as a key business partner rather than a bureaucratic necessity.

Bill retired in 2018. Since retirement, he’s now serving on various community non-profit boards, building houses with Habitat for Humanity, and spending time at his family cottage in the Northwoods. He has been married to his spouse, Jeanne, for over thirty-five years and they have two young-adult children.

Jackie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She has been the Chief Financial Officer for Palmetto Goodwill since October 2018.  As Chief Financial Officer, Jackie is a key leader in Palmetto Goodwill’s financial planning and budget process and leads the Finance and Human Resource teams.  Her teams directly support the donated goods, commercial services, and mission work of the organization.

Prior to joining Palmetto Goodwill, Jackie served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin from May 2012 to June 2018.  She joined the organization in 2002 as its Director of Finance.  In 2008, she became Chief Financial Officer and served in that capacity until 2012. As Senior Vice President of Operations, Jackie was a key leader in Goodwill North Central Wisconsin’s strategic planning process and led the administrative support teams, transportation, warehouse, and contracts operations teams. Her teams directly supported the retail and mission work of the organization.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Edward J. Krueger

Ed is an innovative leader with many years of experience in a range of criminal justice and security-related fields. His approach is to engage others in accountability and ownership of their roles and responsibilities. He is the Director of the Center for Innovative Change, formed in 2015 to provide services for agencies and organizations locally and nationally. He is a trainer and facilitator in leadership, executive performance, organizational culture, policy development, and visionary strategic planning.

Prior to working for the Center for Innovative Change, Ed was in the United States Air Force, a police officer in Dubuque, Iowa, an administrative leader for Fox Valley Technical College, and a director of security for a major hotel property. During his time at Fox Valley Technical College, Ed directed the law enforcement training academy, served as the criminal justice department chair, and provided executive leadership for a broad range of national scope projects and programs with the United States Department of Justice.

Kristine has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia University in Management and Communications, as well as numerous professional certifications around Human Resources and professional development. She joined Fox Community Credit Union in June 2021 with a strong background in developing cultural initiatives and leading Human Resources and Training teams, most recently with the accounting and consulting firm Clifton Larson Allen.  

Kristine also spent over ten years as the Vice President of People & Culture at Goodwill of North Central Wisconsin, where she helped implement and guide the organization with many positive people-centric initiatives. She has been very involved in our community, having served on the Fox Cities YMCA Corporate Board, DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging) & HR Committees, the New North Economic Development Group, Neenah Animal Shelter Board, and the Governor’s Council on Financial Literacy, to name a few.

Rick sense

Rick most recently served as District Chief of Staff for the United States House of Representatives over the past decade, including Representative Mike Gallagher and former Representative Reid Ribble. Prior to that, he served in several capacities for Community First Credit Union. Rick culminated as Senior Vice President of planning, government, community relations. He also served as Director of Development and webmaster for Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin. Collectively, Rick’s experience in the political, corporate, and non-profit sectors provides a unique, but fitting combination of skillsets and knowledge.

Rick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in international business, international studies, and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He received his certification in fundraising from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. His community involvement encompasses Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Northeast Wisconsin Chapter, Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin, Inc., Children’s Hospital in Neenah, United Way of the Fox Cities, Rotary International, and more.
